I ran this Westcott Designs tire carrier on my last 3rd Gen Tacoma, so I figured I would I would run it on my new truck.

Pros: It allowed me to carry my spare tire because the new Tacoma can’t fit any larger than a 33” tire underneath.
- Looks cool and is designed to be up out of the way so that it doesn’t drag while off road.
- Heavy duty and doesn’t rattle around.

Cons: The Tacoma rear springs are SOFT and don’t like the extra weight in the rear.
- Just a tire swing. WD doesn’t have any add ons yet for this like tables or other items for camping.
- 4th Gen Tacoma has too many sensors and things that BEEP! So you have to turn a lot of the features off, plus it also blocks your camera.
