25’ TRD Sport Tailgate Misalignment

I have the automatic tailgate on my truck. The tailgate is so far to the left that it is almost rubbing the LR tail light. The truck has 30 miles on it. I didn’t realize this issue before I left the dealership. Has anyone experienced this and or have a fix for it?

Mine has a bigger gap on one side as well. Seen the same thing on many trucks. Not sure if/how you can fix it though... Maybe someone else here has more experience.

Thanks for the info. I wouldn’t be so worried about it if it wasn’t so close to the tail light. It’s all but rubbing it now.

Yeah mine is not aligned 100%, but it's not close to rubbing yet. Have you tried calling the dealer?

I will tomorrow. Just wanted to post on here to see if this was a known issue and if it had an easy fix. Just bring awareness to the issue.

Let us know how it goes. Hopefully its a simple fix. Do you have any weight on the bed? Like a topper, etc.

No sir. Completely empty bed. Nothing loosened or added.
