Tacoma Tailgate Troubles: No Manual Lever?

Hey everyone, I just bought my first truck and taco. I decided on going with a 2026 TRD Pro. It's beautiful and drives so well. I went from owning a 2017 Dodge Challenger GT and they are very different to say the least. But I have no regrets and would make the choice to trade again 10x over.

It's neat having five ways to open your tailgate, but then you find out there's no manual lever, haha.

I'll try disconnecting the battery tomorrow; first oil change is due soon anyway. Still, it's a pretty silly issue.

Anyone else dealing with tailgate troubles? It's really bumming out my weekend vibes.
