Welded trailer hitch SERIOUS problem

The 24 has a welded hitch which is now part of the frame. If you get bumped and your hitch deflects 4 mm (between 1/8 and 1/4 in) your truck is considered TOTALLED. Tacoma rule. New frame needed. Insuring won’t pay to replace the whole frame even IF could get one. You canlose thousand of dollars. In the past the hitch is either repaired or replaced. I’m trading mine in as soon as the Taco cones with a bolt on hitch.
