Who's Running 35" Tires? What's Your MPG?

I'm going to make the jump to 35s before I do 37s (ultimate goal).

What's everyone getting for MPG? Please note if you have a hybrid or not.

I'm at 19MPG right now with my TRD Pro with 33" E load Arroyo MTs

Non hybrid, 2300 miles on the odometer with a 3" lift and 35's......averaging 16.6, last 2 tanks were right at 15. Best I ever did stock was 17.9.

But that said, I didn't buy a Tacoma for gas mileage, so i really don't care.

Running 35" Nitto Ridge Grapplers (F-Load) and am getting anywhere between 16 to 18 mpg.

Sounds about right. I didn't buy mine for MPG either. But still curious to see what's possible. My main concern is for long distance. I just hate filling up every 1.5 hours at higher speeds haha.

No doubt.....that tiny little gas tank is RIDICULOUS. It's really the only thing I don't like about my truck!

Yeah, same. It's the only real annoying thing. I'm sure someone will come out with one eventually (auxiliary or replacement). I bet you could get one custom fabricated too. Long Range America has almost all Toyotas. I would imagine they will do the next generation of trucks. Maybe they are already close to releasing it...

There has been enough talk that I think Toyota will eventually update it from the factory. If not, I'll explore other options. It's definitely not a deal breaker though - I really love this truck.
