Important Bulb Installation Guidelines

When replacing light bulbs, confirm that the bulb is properly engaged with the bulb base and that there is no light leakage. Improper seating can cause moisture ingress and electrical issues.

LED Light Information

The lights other than front turn signal/parking lights (bulb type) consist of a number of LEDs. If any of the LEDs burn out, take your vehicle to your Toyota dealer to have the light replaced.

Condensation Build-Up

Temporary condensation build-up on the inside of the lens of any lights does not indicate a malfunction. Contact your Toyota dealer for more information in the following situations:

• Large drops of water have built up on the inside of the lens of any light
• Water has built up inside of any lights

Why This Matters for Your 4th Gen Tacoma

The 2024+ Tacoma uses LEDs for nearly all lighting - better reliability and efficiency than older trucks. This also means fewer bulbs you can swap yourself. The one you can replace is the front turn signal/parking light, part number 7444NA.

Here's what that 28/8 wattage means: it's a dual-filament bulb with 28W for the turn signal and 8W for the parking light. Always grab the OEM part number (7444NA) or a Toyota-equivalent when replacing. Aftermarket alternatives might not meet Toyota's specs for light output and safety.

LED lights can't be swapped at home because they're integrated modules that need dealer equipment and expertise to install correctly.
