Auto Parking Break NOT Engaging on 2024 Tacoma

So I noticed on my new TRD Pro Tacoma that the automatic parking break was not engaging at all. Every time I put the truck into park, it failed to engage. I worked manually, but not the way it should. I took it to the dealer and they were able to re-callobrate it and now it works. Seems like it was a quick software issue.

Mine is doing this as well. I think it did it once and then never again. Might have to swing by. Although, not sure if I like this feature. I'm not one to use the parking brake much unless I'm in a shady spot on a trail or something similar. I feel like over time, it will cause extra wear and need adjustment or repair.

Auto Parking brake? I should probably read the user guide/manual... LOL Far too many advancements from my 04 RSX...

Mine chooses when to do it. Usually in 4 lo or if it senses I'm on a slope. I also believe you can change when it engages in the settings. I also noticed if I turn on the ''hold'' feature it will automatically apply the parking brake when I put the truck in park.
