Does anyone make adapter plugs to avoid rewiring a new plug for the various 3rd party Aux 1-4 plugs? I realize it’s not that big a deal to cut off the OEM plug and install the aftermarket. But an adapter would be better both to speed installation and restore to stock if desired.

Need some clarification. Your truck should come with a harness or two that attaches to where those switches lead to in a couple of spots around the truck. Most people use the one under the driver's side headlight. Once you plug in the OEM harness, the other end it just a bunch of caped leads. You figure out what color is what switch/amperage, and just wire in your aftermarket electronics. You don't cut the factory harnesses or anything like that to wire something up.

Sorry it’s not the under-hood stuff. That is fine. Works great. That setup is awesome. I am replacing the stock AUX3 switch with aftermarket. The plugs don’t match.

Frankly the more annoying problem is that the steering wheel kinda blocks the view of those switches. But that isn’t fixable.

Gotcha. Yeah you should be able to pop off the dash trim and get to the back of the aux panel. Then you can push the clips in and remove factory switches.

Did you already buy the switch? If you got the right one, it will drop in perfectly into the slot and you can wire it from there.

The switches pop out pretty easily. The issue is that the OEM plugs for those switches (different for AUX1/2 and AUX 3/4) are not compatible with the two aftermarket switches I have. It’s not that difficult to cut off the OEM plugs and install the new plugs provided with those switches. But an adapter would be helpful.

Gotcha. Yeah I haven't seen any adapters. There's a lot of switch types out there, so I imagine someone would have to make a lot of different harnesses. Let us know if you find something.
