While I’m currently running Peaks 2.5 DSC coilovers, I wanted to make a more detailed post about Peak Suspension 2-Piece Trail Kit and break down its key aspects for anyone considering it as I got the chance to run it and test it out for a bit before making the switch to the 2.5s.
1. **Lift and Performance:**
The 2-Piece Trail Kit offers a simple, effective way to lift your vehicle by adding spacers to the stock suspension. It's a great option that will give 2.25" of added clearance, however, doesn't offer adjustability, making it more of a "set it and forget it" solution. There is also the option for a 1"-2" rear spacer to complete the lift. It’s great for those who just want a straightforward lift without the option to fine-tune their suspension.
...And yes, you can fit 35s (with some possible trimming) with this option!
2. **Ride Quality:**
The 2-Piece Trail Kit retains a "stock-like" feel through its design, which includes a top mount spacer and lower spring seat adapter. While it does maintain a great ride on and off road, it doesn't offer the smoothness or customization found with the DSC coilovers.
