How I Fixed My Tacoma's Trailer Issue with a Simple 7-Pin Plug Tweak

Has anyone had a similar issue with their truck like the one in the picture above? When my truck first developed this issue, I tried everything, even going in and removing my trailer from the selection, but it didn't work. Later on, I found the solution, which wasn't that much of a big deal.

First, you have to check the 7-pin plug. Now the center pin has a spring-loaded sensor. Try wiggling it to get the sensor to seat correctly.

Once you can do that, you're good to go. That resolved the issue for me, so I believe it'd work for anyone having a similar issue too.
