Quick Guide to Using Your Tacoma's Shift Lock Override

Not sure there are many owners who have read their owner's manual, so not many would know what this function means in their truck.

If you're one of those owners, this is the Shift Lock Override. To share a little tip: usually, if you pop the small cover off, you can insert a key to release the gear shift, allowing you to put it in neutral without the key. Hope to share more tips on the forum that others would find very helpful.
